Stippling complete and now ready for......

the rest of the quilting before I can put a binding on this fall quilt. I think this one is my longest running UFO. 7 years in the making. So it will be a real treat to have it finished.

Here I tried to get a picture of the whole quilt; the white outer section is showing the batting that will be trimmed once I add the binding. I'm calling this one "A Blustery Day". Clearly, I need some training on how to center pictures.

I tried to capture a good close up of the stippling which is just in the inner section of the quilt. I will use a different style in the border and the middle section with the leaves.

This last picture really captures the middle of the quilt. These leaves are repeated; one in each corner. You can see my (curved) pins which I use for basting. There are several different basting methods. This one has worked well for me.

Today was a good food day. I ended up with just the right amount of calories vs. my calorie burn after I worked out at Curves. I got all smiley faces on my food tracker. MyFoodDiary.com
