The pattern called for a short ruffle at the top of bag where the straps attached which I left off. Next time I might also use elastic in the casing where the side ties are and leave those off too. I might be fun to switch it up a bit. What do you think?
This is the side view - there is a little pocket on the front and the back at the bottom of the brown sections. (The front and back look the same).
I added some extra pockets inside too. The pattern only called for one 5" pocket inside....that would never do!!

Oh my gosh that looks sooooo gorgeous and practical to boot! :D I was eyeing a bag very similar to this with that fabric. They were selling it at an apple orchard this past fall. (Is it still Fall?!) Anyway, yours is wayyyyy cuter Kate! Can I see it in person tomorrow?!? ;) Can't wait to see you guys!
