All the way from Jerusalem

Friends of ours took a special trip to Jerusalem back in the 80's. We watched their young son for a couple of weeks while they were away.
They brought this hand carved manger home for us. It's been a treasure ever since!

Merry Christmas my friends!

  1. My Mom brought me one of these when she visited Israel in the 1980's. She asked what I wanted and I told her, "a Nativity made of olive wood." Mom wasn't a seasoned traveler, bought it the first few days she was there and then had to carry it around for two weeks. She still talks about her sore back -smile-.
    Merry Christmas, Kate!
