I found my thrill..........

...........on peppermint hill. .

Well, well, well, what do you know......I actually finished something! It's been a LONG time since I've finished any quilting projects and I won't torture you with the why's and what for's. Let's just say that it's been a LONG year.

I made these curtains for my bathroom a couple of years ago or maybe longer. And always planned to make some other items from this adorable peppemint snowman fabric. (Which I bought for a completely different project by the way).

The fact of the matter is that Snowmen seem to be my muse. Ever since I finished decorating my house for the holidays I've been itching to sew.

Thrilled to be sewing!! (and wiggly)

A close up of the pattern on the bottom curtain. Gives me a hankering for some snow.

Drum roll please....................my finishes for today are these matching aprons. One for me...........

And two for my twin grandkids who are coming on Saturday to make our annual Christmas cookie cutter cookies.

LOVE the striped tie backs.

I'm so excited that I got these finished.......TWO days early to boot!! This year is really special for us. I couldn't bake with them last year because of a car accident that put me out of commission for the better part of this year. In fact now that I think of it, I wanted to make these last year. As you can see, this is an EXTRA special finish for me this week.

Oh, I almost forgot. I finished the little runner at the top of the post this week too. It's for the back of my toilet to match my curtains. Phew! That's it for me.........at least for now. Yes, I'm thrilled; things are certainly looking up and just in time for the holidays.

I'm linking up to Amylouwhos Sew & Tell.  Hop on over and see all the lovely finishes for this week's Quilting Bee. Go ahead, it will be fun. I promise!!  Merry, merry Sewing!
