That's what I get for getting up at 5 to sew......."sew" successfully, I might add :) and then pushing the limit by not taking pictures until 6:14 when I should have been in the shower by 6 to get ready for work on time. SOOOO, needless to say, I was hurrying to get the photos downloaded and something went wrong. Oops! I'll fix it tonight and show you what is done so far on my UFO project that I have now dubbed the DWR (double wedding ring). I LOVE acronyms, what can I say?

I have all the melons sewn and the centers cut and am now ready for assembly. I did a trial corner and it came out quite well if I do say so myself. I CANNOT wait to see the finished product.
Here are some other variations I found on line. I really love to red version and may make that one next for my own bed.....hmmmm.
I decided to try the DWR in the 1980's. I quickly decided it wasn't enjoyable and just made a 3 right table runner. I admire anyone who can stick with and make a big quilt.
