Some new project ideas.........

This is the fabulous Moda snowflake fabric that I found at a great little quilt shop, Pickering Farms in New Hampshire. This will soon become a handy winter tote for some special person!

This treasure was found at the Brimfield Antique Show & Flea Market this year. I'm planning to make a giant pillow as a Christmas gift this year. The back will be a beautiful paisley tapestry fabric left over from a cushion I covered a few years ago.

This crazy quilt square is one of several. My daughter in law , Janel, who is also a quilter / crafter, has the other half of the set. All hand stitched. If you click on the picture you'll get much better detail. Whomever made these had an incredible talent! I haven't decided what to do with them yet, so any suggestions would be welcome........I keep taking them out and staring at them and rearranging them, they are so magnificent!

  2. Yes!! And I love it!! I'm so gonna copy cat your idea. I never thought of just making my own....great idea! You're so right that the other one is too small to do our quilting any justice.

  3. I think the crazy pieced blocks are just meant to be looked at and loved. Kind of like old pictures.

  4. You may be right Wanda. It will have to be a special project to warrant using these for.
